My mission

My Friends,

I want to start off by saying I am not a politician. I want to make this point clear because it seems to always be a politician of some type claiming to bring change and reform to government if elected. No, I am just a fellow taxpayer who works 50 hours a week in a accounting department watching the chaos in St. Paul day after day. I consider myself a numbers guy, like taxation, spending, productivity and rationality of programs. So when I see the increase spending, taxation with out justification and the lack of respect these politicians have for the people paying for their boondoggle programs I could not stay still any longer.

Like every one of you I am frustrated at the waste, lack of common sense and down right insane policies that we read about every morning we open the paper. From tax policies that are chasing business out of our state, immigration policies that reward law breaking and a massive bloated government that wants to reward those who abuse the system and punish those who ask nothing from it, it’s time to stand up.

My name is Rene Ramirez and I am coming to the table with a clear head and not in the pocket of any special interest group. I am going to work to cut taxes, not simply hold the line. I will work to make sure the business climate in Minnesota can once again compete for new businesses. I will stand side by side with legal immigrants around the state to make sure Minnesota respects what they had to do to become legal residents and reforming welfare so that people do not simply flock to Minnesota for a check.

All this and more must be done to bring back common sense to government, do not allow yourself to be told that it’s to complicated to the common people to understand, this is our government and join me to take it back!

Thank you very much and god bless.
