The only way to make forward progress is by making sure everyone is on the same page.

Immigration

Current legislation on the books must be enforced. This is not an issue about race; this is an issue about public safety and respecting the millions who have come to this country the legal way. I propose a system that holds employers accountable for hiring illegals, removes state welfare benefits and withholds state funding to cities classified as sanctuary cities.

 

Taxation

Correcting our ailing economy depends on whether not we have someone in office who understands how to spur job and wealth creation. Through a system of cutting government down to size and refocusing our state to bring business back we can lower the tax burden on every single business and tax payer through out state.

• Reduce the growth of government spending
• Reduce marginal tax rates on income from labor and capital
• Reduce government regulation of the economy 

Education

Enrollment is down and budgets are up this must be corrected. A system must be created where parents have the ability to choose whether or not to send their child to a public school or private without the threat of paying double. A tax credit system that allows private schools to compete without the burdensome government mandates will increase competition for our children which will mean a better education across the board.

 

Health care

Mandates placed on by the Minnesota government have made it impossible for families to afford health care on their own, instead forced to find a job that has a plan that works for them. We must create a system which allows you to buy health insurance on the free market; whether a basic plan or a fully loaded package. This will remove the forced fix cost insurance companies endure and allow for a price war based on all the new competition.

 

Transportation

Light rail has done nothing for congestion in fact made it worse. Our roads are slowly decaying and our current legislators refuse to invest on further road creation instead focus on creating more light rail systems. We have an out of date funding system that must be changed to create a fair system that represents where the majority of the funding comes from. Change the funding system, no further investment into a light rail system unless it is found to be fully self sufficient and increase the road system in the metropolitan area.
